The Fashion Group – Festival Fashion

The Fashion Group – Festival Fashion

For this months fashion group we are delighted to partner with Bangbangcrash a UK designer and manufacturer of festival wear to present an exciting and colourful shoot.

Bangbangcrash will provide MUA, model and outfits and the club will provide studio time and photographers. Photographers will be able to use the images on their websites and social media as long as they have provided the same images to Bangbangcrash for them to use for their publicity, websites and social media.

The photographers shall be credited when the photographs are used, the copyright of the images will remain with the photographer but Bangbangcrash will be free to use the images for promotional purposes.

This is a great opportunity for Camera Club members to shoot a niche fashion brand and to have their name credited should their images be used. For Bangbangcrash it is an opportunity to have their work photographed using the club facilities.

There will be 3 or 4 setups but each set up will shoot more than one outfit, there will be a short break to modify the make up. This will be a great shoot with 6-8 colourful outfits created by a brilliant fashion designer. More details of set ups and lighting coming soon but early booking with a club stewards is recommended.

The Shoot

We meet at 6.15 for briefing and set up with shooting commencing at 6.30 finishing at 9pm. Group members are encouraged to give direction during the shoot and submit ideas for future shoots. To achieve four set ups each set up will be one two minute round followed by a one minute round. We must be strict about these times to achieve four set ups.

We need 4 participants to cover costs of this session so please sign up as soon as possible and at the latest by noon Friday 21 April with a steward at the club. This allows us to give the model reasonable notice in the event of cancellation.

Please note if you sign up you may cancel up until seven days before the session without penalty. Should you wish to cancel after that time payment still needs to be made to the club. Please bring cash to the photo session.

I am sure you will end up with great shots, so why not select the best and send it to the Journal for consideration to be included in the club magazine.

Your name should be incorporated in the filename. The image should be large 8bit JPG, sRGB colour profile, resolution 300dpi and longest side a minimum of 2100px. The file to be at least 2mb in size. The images should be sent to Marek – journal@thecameraclub.co.uk  via Wetransfer or Dropbox.

Enjoy the shoot.
